What is a virtual assistant?
A virtual assistant is an experienced administration professional working from their own office, home or anywhere for that matter using online technology to connect with clients anywhere to provide administrative services.
How can a virtual assistant help me?
A virtual assistant can take care of administrative tasks you would ask a secretary, PA or administrator to do, all from a their own office. If it can be done online, then a virtual assistant can help you. Tasks are not limited to general administration. For example, virtual assistants can specialise in website design, social media management, committee administration, industry research to name just a few.
When would I use a virtual assistant?
You may need regular support for those tasks that take you away from your core business. Your admin support may be having a well earned holiday. You run a small enterprise and you only want to pay for admin support when you need it. Your admin team needs additional support. You have a one off project that you need help with. Everyone's situation is unique and a virtual assistant can step in to help out when you need it.
What hours do you work?
I will generally work when you need me and am happy to discuss your needs.
How do we work together?
We can discuss setting up a system of work taking into consideration your preferences, adjusting the system as required to ensure a smooth handover of work. I connect with clients using cloud services, email, Skype, phone and/or SMS. Distance is no barrier to a smooth working relationship.
How do we share files?
I am happy to use your cloud service to share files. If you don't have an existing cloud service, I will set up a Dropbox folder which will be a folder exclusive to you. When your work is done, you will find it in the Dropbox folder on your computer. Don't have Dropbox? I can set it up for you.
