Hi, I’m Fiona Hobbs and I run a business providing virtual assistant and executive support services to consultants, small to medium enterprises and not-for-profits.

Working as a consultant, running a small business or being part of a not-for-profit cause provides great opportunities for doing what you love. Administration isn’t always at the top of your list of things to do in a day but is a necessary task that will keep your business running smoothly.

In my capacity as Executive Director of a small not-for profit organization, I have engaged Fiona to undertake a range of work, including ongoing administration of an important sub-committee as well as one-off projects.
The administration not only included preparation of meeting agendas, papers and minutes but liaison with a variety of stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Ensuring compliance with both statutory and professional obligations was also part of this role.  Projects included the complete overhaul and re-build of our website (including how this would be undertaken, costings etc) and updating a broad range of content material; developing a process for and then implementing the development of a new unit for our on-line learning facility and developing policies and procedures on particular aspects of the organisation’s operation.

I was in your shoes and then, one day, I decided that something had to give.
